ANALISIS PERPINDAHAN PANAS KONVEKSI ALAMIAH PIPA BERBENTUK C MENGGUNAKAN NANO FLUIDA AL2O3-AIR

چکیده

Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pendinginan suatu sistim adalah dengan mencoba mengganti fluida kerjanya, yaitu menggunakan nanofluida. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan nanofluida yang dibuat dari campuran air partikel nano Al2O3 konsentrasi sebesar 1%, 2%, 3% dan 4% dalam persen volume. Penelitian dilakukan memodelkan sistem software Computational Fluids Dynamic (CFD) terdiri pemanas berbentuk pipa C sebagai sumber panas di tangki pendingin IRWST dialirkan ke permukaan pemanas. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh distributsi temperatur memiliki lebih rendah dibandingkan tanpa Selain itu juga diperoleh, pada kosentrasi nilai koefisien perpindahan 1.12 kali air, hal menunjukkan bahwa efektif dipergunakan air.
